Last week Anne Main met with Thameslink to seek assurances for St Albans commuters ahead of the rail timetable changes in May 2018. Changes to the service prompted Mrs Main to write to the government and to Thameslink to get guarantees for commuters.
Local Conservatives applied through the Police and Crime Commissioner's office for a traffic Speed Indicator Device (SID) on London Road, St Albans. This has recently been installed and is already having a positive effect in slowing traffic down on this busy road.
