Don Deepthi - Conservative County candidate the St Albans North division for the Elections on 1st May 2025. This division covers Batchwood and part of the Bernards Heath and Marshalswick West wards.
Don is a proud resident of St. Albans, where he has happily lived for over 35 years with his wife and two daughters.
He cares deeply about our community and is committed to addressing concerns over the Lib Dem administration’s rushed Local Plan, which could result in thousands of houses being built without properly considering local voices. Increasing parking charges to cover their mismanagement is not only unfair to residents but also harmful to our city’s economy.
Don firmly believes that every child deserves access to a great education. With over 92.4% of Hertfordshire pupils now attending good or outstanding schools - up from 82% a decade ago - this progress highlights our commitment to education. While Labour’s policies could jeopardise these gains, Don would focus on safeguarding standards and increasing investment in special needs education to make sure every child feels included and supported.
With your support, Don is ready to bring his energy and dedication to represent everyone in our community.
